Fall Fiesta

Every year Carson's school does one major fundraiser. This keeps the kids from going door to door to sale things. They do a carnival type night and the kids love going. Allen and I helped with the fishing pond for a couple of hours, now we only need another 24 volunteer hours for the school year. Each family is required to volunteer 30 hours a year.
The kids waiting in line for cotton candy.
Ellie paid 4 pesos to get her hair colored pink and then later another 4 pesos to get her nails painted pink and purple.
Grandma Debbie came up to help with the kids while Allen and I worked. She also made a nice donation to the school.

Looks warm! Wish I could feel some heat up here. I might just be frozen by next summer. Looks like a lot of fun. We are doing Taegs fun raiser right now and it is door to door. Not fun at all.

oh i miss fall fiesta. here they want the kids to go door to door and my kids get so excited about the prizes they could win. i hate those fundraisers and told my kids that they WON'T be going door to door. instead they can do a service project and we will reward them with something they want. so k is busy in the kitchen making yummy cookies and zucchini bread to give to people in our neighborhood.
