Wood working projects

This morning Allen took the kids to Home Depot to do their Saturday project. It was suppose to be a pine wood derby car, but they ran out right as they were getting there. Instead they made small little shelves. Ellie plans to put her barbie shoes on hers and I am sure Carson's will get thrown in his toy box. So today the kids are on a wood working kick. Ellie made this frame, all by herself.

Carson made a cross bow, or as he calls it, an X-bow.

Pretty inventive.

Allen has been working on these shelves for a few weeks. His schedule has been pretty busy and then he got a bad cold so he couldn't get them finished a soon as we would have liked. He put the last coat of paint on earlier today and will be bringing them up later. He still needs to put the doors on, but they still need another coat of paint.
