"New Title"

My humble husband hasn't shared this news with any of his friends or family, because he says it isn't a promotion, it is just a new title. I think it is a promotion, no more pay, but the title of Detective is pretty awesome to me. They interviewed last week and then called him in the next day and offered him the position. Of course he took it. He has a few trainings to go to this next month but until then he is still in the Junior High working with the kids and doing patrol work. I am a little more proud of him and called my mom and dad and told them (I did wait a few hours though). We celebrated by going to kinko's and picking up some laminated stuff for the preschool and then we drove through McDonald's for hot fudge sundae's. We really know how to celebrate. My parents are having us over for dinner to celebrate tonight. Dad bought steaks for the special occasion. We love you Al and we are very proud of your hard work and dedication to your job.
