We have made our Christmas Chain! Each day Carson or Ellie gets to tear off one of the chains and then they do a dance around the living room because it is that much closer to being Christmas. As hard as you try to teach your children the true meaning of Christmas it is almost impossible to not let the glitz of Santa and presents get in the way. Carson helped me work on our Christmas Letters, but after about 15 minutes he needed a break. He also helped me make our paper chain. We have our Christmas village all set up and all our decorations out, but Allen is being pretty stubborn about our tree. It seems like a waste to me to put up the tree for 2 weeks and then take it down. I want to enjoy it for an entire month. After Christmas I am going to buy a fake one and then next year we can have it up for longer.
