I really do love the 4th of July, but we never get to see Allen, so it makes for a miserable weekend. This year the Children's Parade was on Friday and then the city does fireworks afterwards. Saturday morning was the big parade, which he worked at. This year he wasn't in charge of the festivities, so that was nice. I think all the Officers HATE parades, so we don't get to go to parades very often. Sunday we did have a bbq and fireworks and our usual parachute contest. We had a few neighbors join us for the fireworks.
